SOUTH KOREA : HOW THEY QUALIFIED

South Korea finished second to Saudi Arabia (4-0-2, 14 points) in Asian Group A, with a disappointing 3-2-1 mark and 10 points. The Koreans did it in style, cruising to a 4-0 victory over Kuwait in Kuwait City's Friendship and Peace Stadium on June 8, 2005. Park Chu-Young, Lee Dong-Gook, Chung Kyung-Ho and Park Ji-Sung tallied for Korea.
