CALLED AGAIN
National Team selects three from Independence
CHICAGO ---Fresh off their championship at the Algarve Cup in Portugal, three players from the Philadelphia Independence, Amy Rodriguez, Heather Mitts and Lori Lindsey were called into the U.S. Women’s National Team camp in preparation for a pair of friendless against Mexico taking place on March 28 at Torero Stadium on the campus of the University of San Diego and March 31 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.

AMSTERDAM -- For 87 minutes Wednesday, the United States had little reason to believe it had a chance to do anything offensively, let alone put a decent shot on goal against the Netherlands.

But the Americans staged a furious 11th-hour rally that made for an intriguing finish, falling short in a 2-1 loss at the Amsterdam ArenA.

CHICAGO — The U.S. Men’s National Team will face the Czech Republic on May 25 at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Conn., in the first of two Send-Off Series matches before heading to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Kickoff at Rentschler Field is set for 8 p.m. ET and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN and Galavision.
