Seger will miss WPS All-Star Game

Philadlephia independence midfielder Caroline Seger will be miss Wednesday’s WPS All-Star Game in Atlanta because of an ankle injury that has been bothering her the last several weeks

Because Seger and the Chicago Red Stars Kate Markgraf were late scratches for the WPS All-Star Game, the teams will consist of 17-player rosters.

Philadelphia will have three players in the WPS All-Star game, Lori Lindsey, Allison Falk and Amy Rodriguez. The match kicks off at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday at KSU Soccer Stadium, and will be televised on Fox Soccer Channel, with a pre-game show starting at 7:30 p.m.
