Philadelphia gaining admittance into Women’s Professional Soccer for 2010, will mean big changes and a complete rebranding for the area’s three teams in the Women’s Premier Soccer League. The Atlantic City Diablos, Philadelphia Liberty and CDSA Future will all take on the nickname of the WPS team.

The Atlantic City Diablos have one shot at making the Women’s Premier Soccer League playoffs. They need to win the make up of a postponed game with the Lancaster Inferno that will be played on Tuesday at Hempfield High School in Lancaster at 7pm.

Hastings leads Diablos to 4-0 win
RICHLAND, NJ---The temperatures and Lydia Hastings were both scorching on Sunday afternoon. Hastings, an 18-year old from Dewey Beach, DE, scored scored two goals to lead the Atlantic City Diablos to a 4-0 win over the Millburn Magic in 90 degree heat at St. Augustine Prep Sunday. The Diablos, 7-2-2, still need to win their next game, against the Lancaster Inferno in order to clinch a playoff spot.
