LOOKING FOR A WIN
Nor’Easters face Central Jersey

After a loss and a pair of draws in their first three games, the Ocean City Nor'easters are looking for their first win when they travel to Central Jersey on Wednesday to take on the Spartans. Central Jersey (0-2-1) will host Ocean City at the College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30.

The Nor'easters (0-1-2) enter the match with two points on the season, but the slow start has not crippled their playoff chances. A win on Wednesday would leapfrog them into fourth place in the division with 12 games to play. Last Saturday, the club finished in a 1-1 draw with the Northern Virginia Royals with Matt Weidman scoring his first PDL goal.

History is on the side of the Nor'easters as they have never failed to earn a victory in the first four games of the season. The match marks the first of six consecutive road games for the team as they travel to Bermuda next weekend for a pair of games against the Hogges.

The Spartans have suffered losses against Ironbound Express (2-0), and West Virginia Chaos (2-0) and a 1-1 draw with the Carolina Dynamo. They have a struggled offensively, only scoring one goal in their first three matches.
