SEATTLE, Wash. – Chivas USA was eliminated in the third round of the US Open Cup, after a 3-1 defeat by Seattle Sounders (USL-1), in a game played at Qwest Field. Five Major League Soccer clubs have been defeated by lower-level clubs in the Open Cup thus far.

LANDISVILLE, PA---D.C. United became the third Major League Soccer team to get bounced out of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, following the LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo, by losing to the Harrisburg City Islanders 1-0 at Hempfield High School Wednesday night.
