Villanova fall 3-2 in OT

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – With three goals in the game’s final 21 minutes, Rutgers posted a 3-2 overtime victory over Villanova on Wednesday night at Yurcak Field. The Wildcats were able to answer the first two with scores of their own but the third resulted in sudden victory for the Scarlet Knights in the game’s 99th minute.

BIG EAST HONORS
Villanova women take to weekly awards

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Following a 1-0 upset win over No. 12/14 Georgetown on Oct. 19, a pair of Villanova standouts earned the final Big East women’s soccer weekly awards. Wildcats junior Jami Kranich earned Big East Goalkeeper of the Week honors, while freshman teammate Emily Damstrom was named the Big East Rookie of the Week.
