BUCKED BY BRONCS
Rams lose 2-1 on last minute goal

Freshman Jim Bradley scored with a little more than a minute remaining in the game to give Rider a 2-1 win over Philadelphia University Wednesday.

Rider (1-3) took the lead in the 65th minute when Colin Jennings fed Nico Tramontana with a long pass. The Vineland, NJ native converted it for his first collegiate goal.

The Rams equalized with 1:47 left on the clock when Spencer Reiter jammed in a deflection.

It didn’t take the Broncs long to net the game winner, just 42 seconds later Bradley got a ball from Anthony Gilbert after a scramble in front of the net and beat Rams goalkeeper Ezra Cassell.

Cassell made 10 saves as Rider outshot Philadelphia 16-7. Rider’s Randall Zapolski made 1 save.
