La Salle's Niemiec named first team
KANSAS CITY, Kan LaSalle's Courtney Niemiec (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America first team Mid-Atlantic Region. Explorers joining Niemiec on the all-region list was Renee Washington (Ewing, N.J./The Pennington Prep) as a second team selection and Kelsey Haycook (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Boro) with a third team nod.

Explorers fall to Virginia 4-1
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.---After setting a program record for wins, LaSalle could not pick up just one more, falling to Virginia 4-1 in the in the first round of the NCAA tournament at Klockner Stadium Friday night.

LaSalle men fall to Saint Louis 3-1
CHARLOTTE, N.C. Second-seeded Saint Louis (14-4) tallied a pair of late goals to defeat #7 La Salle, 3-1, in the quarterfinals of the 2012 Atlantic 10 Mens Soccer Championship, Thursday afternoon at Transamerica Field.

La Salle junior forward Renee Washington has been named the Philly Soccer News Womens College Player of the Week for the week ending November 4.

LaSalle win's first women's title
KINGSTON, RI - Junior Renee Washington scored both goals as La Salle won its first ever Atlantic 10 Championship title en route to head coach Paul Royals 100th win with a 2-1 overtime win against VCU.
